A campaign showcasing 1001 user generated experiences from around Western Australia in an interactive film and website.
A competition was promoted via the Tourism Western Australia Facebook page and received 6,000 entries submitted by WA fans and photography enthusiasts from 27 different countries who contributed photos of their extraordinary experiences.
The top 1001 images chosen were pieced together into a stunning quick-frame film featuring over 300 inspiring locations expressing a day in WA. The interactive website encouraged users to pause mid film to find out more about particular locations.
Promotional material including outdoor billboards and online banners helped to engage the Western Australia Facebook community of over 180k fans, with a custom aggregation tool created to showcase experiences and facilitate social sharing.
